~ History of the Moench family ~

Founder, Gene Moench, started Moench Letter Service in 1937 inside his father's college: Moench Business College (now Steven's Henager College). After selling the college, Gene moved the business on 200 South in Salt Lake City. This was known as Printer's Row during that time. Gene had a few 1 color presses and did a lot of Newsletters, Letterhead and envelopes for the local businesses. In the late 60's, Gene moved the business to a new location and new building on 800 South in Salt Lake City. The Printing Company was growing fast!

Darrell Moench, 2nd generation, took over the company in 1974 and added many presses, including a 4-color and 2 color heidelberg Press wth a large deck, which was revolutionary for this time! Many items printed included Presentation Folders, Flyers, Brochures, NCR Forms - which were very popular during the 80's. Then Signage was added to the products offered to their clients. Jennifer Moench Kartchner and Jill Moench Clark worked for Moench Printing as adults together for many years, including as teenagers as after-school jobs.

To continue the family tradition, Jennifer Moench Kartchner, 3rd generation, started Stonebridge Printing and added more products: Promotional Products, Apparel (embroidery, screen printing, heat transfer and signage - both electrical signs, building signs and banners, etc). Jennifer has also added the networking in the local communities throughout Utah... As well as extending sells to 15 states!
